Built on Machines, Not Monitors. Since 1987.

Three generations of textile production. 1.6 million machine-tested files. Two UK facilities. One family.

A Seventy-Year Textile Legacy

Most digitizing companies started with software. We started with fabric. Our Managing Director grew up in the industry — his grandfather ran a cloth mill in the 1950s, his mother built a specialist handkerchief business in the 1970s, and as a teenager he was delivering goods to hand-embroidery artisans and joining sales tours across India. The business was formally established in 1987. In those early years, the family company became a Disney licensee — a training ground where global buyers would quiz our team on the exact number of eyelashes on Minnie Mouse's eyes. That taught us something we have never forgotten: in high-end branding, there is no such thing as a small detail. We bring that same scrutiny to every file we produce today, whether it is a regimental crest or a school blazer badge.

Rebuilt from the Ground Up

In 1998, our entire factory burned to the ground. Decades of production equipment, stock, and the handkerchief business — gone in a single night. Instead of walking away, we rebuilt. That fire forced a strategic pivot into digitizing — the technical brain behind every stitch. We learned to build files by understanding what happens when the needle hits the fabric, not just what looks good on a screen. That philosophy has not changed in nearly thirty years. We formed Net Digitizing in 2004 and moved the business to the UK in 2012, establishing Net Digitizing UK Limited in Brentwood, Essex. While the rest of the industry was outsourcing customer support offshore, we chose the opposite direction — a UK-based team that answers the phone, understands production deadlines, and speaks the same language as our customers.

Three Generations. Still Family-Led.

Our Indian production facility is still headed by our founder's parents, ensuring the same quality standards that earned us our reputation over fifty years ago. Our UK operations are now joined by the next generation — our founder's son and daughter — bringing fresh technical knowledge while honouring the craftsmanship that built the business. This is not a venture-backed startup. There is no exit strategy. When your name is on the door and your family is on the factory floor, you do not cut corners.

UK Facilities. UK Accountability.

We are not an anonymous email address. We are a UK company with a face, a phone number, and two physical facilities. Our Brentwood office is our customer-facing hub — a team of eight handling sales, technical support, and project management. Every order is overseen from concept to dispatch. Our Harrow facility is our production and quality-control unit — equipped with embroidery machines, a printing press, and laser cutting. Samples, urgent runs, and complex problem-solving happen here. Every batch that arrives from our production lines is physically inspected in Harrow before it reaches the customer. If there is an issue with a file, we do not just email back and forth. We stitch it out on our own machines, identify the problem, and fix it.

Trusted Where It Matters

We have been exhibiting at the Printwear & Promotion show at the NEC since 2007 — eighteen years running. We won the final Printwear & Promotion Embroidery Design Award before the awards ceased. Wilcom UK, the makers of the industry's leading digitizing software, have returned to our stand year after year because of the quality of our work. Madeira, one of the world's leading thread manufacturers, trusts us to digitize their own demonstration samples. We hold ourselves to the standard that if it goes on a poster at a trade show, it has to survive the scrutiny of a business owner who has been doing this for twenty years. If it would not convince them, we do not publish it. We are a trusted supplier to the NHS, police, fire and ambulance services, and professional football clubs. We have delivered under televised championship deadlines for professional boxing, and produced precision branding for world-leading athletic and luxury fashion brands. To protect our clients' intellectual property, we do not publicly display trademarked logos or specific project photography. We bring that same level of professional privacy to every brand we partner with.

What We Actually Do

We do not create pictures. We create machine instructions.

  • ✓Net Digitizing helps embroidery businesses turn artwork into files that stitch properly — files that run smoothly on machines, do not break threads, do not need constant fixing, and look consistent across production. If a file looks good on screen but causes problems on the machine, it is not a good file.
  • ✓Our sister brand, EmbroideryBadge.uk, takes that same engineering philosophy into physical badge and patch manufacturing — over twenty product types, from embroidered and woven to TPU, silicone, and bullion wire. Because we control the process from the digital file to the physical product, nothing gets lost in translation.

Real People. Real Expertise. Real Support.

We answer the phone. We understand your deadlines. We stand behind our stitches. Whether you need production-ready digitizing files, artwork prepped for your DTF printer, or fully manufactured badges and patches, the process starts with a conversation.

Embroidery results may vary depending on machine type, thread, fabric, backing, and operator setup. We strongly recommend test stitching before full production.
