Laser engraving is a mechanical process. Sending a standard, unoptimized JPEG to a CO2 or Fiber laser can lead to scorching the material rather than engraving it. We prepare dithered grayscale depth maps and clean outlines prepared for Rotary Engraving, Glass Etching, and Metal Marking. - ✕DON’T expect recoverable detail: Fine details in very low-resolution images may not be recoverable during the preparation process.
- ✕DON’T skip the sample: A mockup is a tool to support a sale, but we always recommend testing on scrap material before final production.
