Optimized Artwork for DTF & DTG.
We deliver files prepared for production for Direct-to-Film and Direct-to-Garment, with a focus on clean borders and appropriate color management.
The Vector Myth: Not Every DTF Design Needs Vectorizing.
Attempting to vectorize every single design may not be the most efficient use of time and resources. Most files simply benefit from being professionally tuned for digital print.
The Net Digitizing Standard:We provide DTF-optimized artwork where we work on improving your image, help identify and reduce potential print issues, and vectorize only the critical elements—such as sharp edges or text. However, if the quality of the source image provided is unsuitable for a clean print, we will let you know upfront.
Why Us / The Reality
We aim to simplify your file preparation. A key factor in achieving a clean DTF print is rarely a 100% vector file; it is a clear boundary. We work on improving image quality and colour where possible, then manually refine the edges—specifically the outer outlines—to support your software in calculating a clean white underbase and helping reduce visible "halo" effects.
The "Smoke & Mirrors" Reality Check
Vectorizing elements like smoke effects, fire, glowing halftones, or highly complex photographs is usually not suitable for DTF. It is no longer required by modern RIP software, and the final vector result often looks unnatural. We will give you an optimized file with a clean transparent background (PDF or PNG)\u2014exactly what your DTF machine needs to calculate a proper white underbase.
Coming Soon
Gang Sheet Builder
We will soon be introducing a dedicated Mockup & Gang Sheet Builder.
Quality Control: Upload your designs, and our studio team will evaluate whether the quality is suitable for production before anything goes to print.
Expert Intervention: If our team flags a problem, they will be available to assist with resolving artwork issues.
A Controlled Environment: This will be a closed system. You will not be able to download the artwork; once approved, it is sent directly to our team for production.
What We Can and Cannot Do
✓Do
- ✓DO provide a high-resolution starting point with decent resolution.
- ✓DO specify your garment colour so we can help set an appropriate print profile.
- ✓DO allow our team to advise on "transparency vs halftone" for improved breathability.
✕Don't
- ✕DON’T expect us to "vectorize" human faces, smoke, or complex photographic gradients.
- ✕DON’T expect fine details to be recreated from very low-resolution images.
- ✕DON’T expect semi-transparent "fades" to work on DTF without appropriate halftone processing.
